I’d like to know who’s bright idea it was to have Valentine’s Day in Feburary,a month when in most places it’s cold as heck outside. I mean it’s suppose to be a day dedicated to love and romance and i think most would agree its much easier to be in a romantic mood in warm spring weather than in bitter cold winter weather.

Not quite “on the street”, but I saw Russell Peters in a La Senza (Canadian equivalent of Victoria’s Secret) buying something for his wife for Valentine’s day. He had a pretty big bodyguard with him and was mostly quiet, but pretty nice; most people were intimidated by his bodyguard so they didn’t want to even try to talk to him. They just stood back and told him they were fans of his, and stuff like that. The most hilarious part was that my mom, the manager, didn’t know who he was despite everyone else in the store (employees AND customers) knowing. I have a gay, male friend (I am a straight female) and he always jokes that other than silly biology we would be soulmates. Thanks for your support for DAoC. Game developers have it tough especially MMO developers (now more than ever). One of the interesting things about Mythic and the industry is that if you look at all the publishers/distributors who told me that we were going to fail with online games (including DAoC) and that online games were never going to as big as standalone, most of them are gone and Mythic is still open for business.
